Hello
I'm Clint Brooks, owner and operator of CB Model Designs.
Thank you for visiting-I hope you will enjoy what you see here and
find inspiration to build and fly rubber powered Free Flight models.
A little bio on myself; I've been a modeler since early youth, learning
the process for stick and tissue construction with the standards of the
day: Comet, Jetco, Guillow's and others.
I have been successful in all aspects of aeromodeling; Free Flight,
Control Line and Radio Control. I am very passionate about aeromodeling,
it's rich history and the mystique of stick and tissue modeling. I'm not
world famous or even locally world famous. Designing
models has been a big part of my life over the years, and I believe I have
something to offer the aeromodeling world at large.
I have a 26 year background in Aerospace engineering, production and
tooling. I've done a bit of
the full scale stuff along the way too.
It all adds up to something near and dear to me, and I am pleased
to share my knowledge and passion with
others interested in this sport and hobby.
Yes-I'm running a cottage operation. That
means I'm not likely to be creating mass quantities of kits that appear in
every hobby shop in the country, at least not any time soon. This type of
operation does allow opportunity to focus on development, testing and
refinements to obtain a superior model airplane kit.
To me, it's important to make the best
possible design over the long haul. I
think my customers will agree with that philosophy, and I believe this
will set CB Model Designs apart from traditional manufacturers.
My objective is to offer high quality models that provide hours of
enjoyment for you, your family and your friends. My designs are developed
and flight proven before I release them as products.
In the end, it's all about having fun and finding joy in your life. I hope
my models will give you this reward and put a smile on your face.
I look forward to serving you.
